Candy's litter

Postby scase282 » Sat Jun 21, 2008 7:24 pm

Well, my unplanned litter with Candalise Onix Gloria and our own Prekrasne David arrived yesterday 20 June.

This litter is the result of David, at 8 months old, learning to open doors and having a "date" with Candy.

David is a handsome boy but now neutered so this litter is one time only. David is the son of Asthera Eureka and Godomir Sibaris*RU.

The litter is 4 males! 1 black classic and 3 black mackerel. One of the kittens is already very light and very warm and looked almost golden but I think he'll just be very warm light brown.

Candy is doing great! She's such a wonderful mom. I'm hoping to give her a longer break this time but the poor girl cycles a lot. She is in heat every other week.

She will only have 2 more litters then retire to be my pet.

Yes, I found Siberians are decidedly clever cats! David is now happily living as a pet. He did sire some pretty babies though.

Thanks all! I am hoping they turn out nice. They have a promising start.

Congratulations on the brownie bunch! David was quite the determined young hero, overcoming obstacles on the way to his lady fair! :D

I have had all my door handles attached the "wrong way" since Otto started showing interest in girls. He can open doors quite easily if the handles are in the normal position. Otto doesn't spray and his singing is moderate, but he will seize the chance to get to the girls.

I took some new pictures of the kittens today. I must say that I am regretting the neuter of David and happy he sired this litter - they are probably the best and most evenly typed litter I have had so far. They are so nice I am considering keeping David's younger brother Draco from our latest litter with Erika.

Thanks! Thankfully the litter is so even right now its hard to pick a favorite but I like Gandalf and Gideon. However, Godrik is a very nice classic boy.

Likewise! :D

By the way, it's Gandalf Greyhame, not Greyhem. (Yes, I'm a Tolkien geek...)

In all, this is a very good-looking litter. Congratulations!
